Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, H.R. 5185 was prepared for the Judiciary Committee by the Office of Law Revision Counsel, a nonpartisan office of the House of Representatives charged with maintaining the official United States Code. In 2011, Congress enacted a positive law restatement of title 41, which pertains to public contracts. After Congress enacts a positive law restatement of a title of the code, a follow-up bill is sometimes necessary to correct technical errors, make conforming amendments, and incorporate additional provisions. H.R. 5185 is such a follow-up bill. This bill does not change the substantive meaning of any law on the books today. It simply helps ensure that the code is up to date, accurate, and accessible. Mr. Speaker, I urge all Members to support this bill, and I reserve the balance of my time.
