I use Grok 4.3 (x-ai/grok-4.3) to read each statement and write a short, neutral brief on the context and intent behind it: the speaker’s position, their argument, and what they are asking for.

Then Hermes 4 (nousresearch/hermes-4-405b) uses that brief alongside the original text to produce the translation: blunt, simple caveman speak.

Hermes 4 is Nous Research’s custom fine-tune of Llama 3.1 405B, trained to follow instructions closely and handle roleplay and creative writing. Technical report.

I chose Hermes after testing and iterating with many models. In my tests, it was more willing to make fun of people and lean into satire. Of all the models tested, it had the best zingers.
