Saluting Members of Mount Vernon Naacp

The House paused regular business for a tribute. Representative Latimer spoke in honor of the Mount Vernon, New York, branch of the NAACP ahead of its annual Community Heroes Award Luncheon at the Macedonia Community Center, at which the branch will honor ten individuals it calls community heroes. This was a ceremonial statement recognizing the branch and the honorees, not a debate on legislation.Written by AI from the debate. Updated .
