Order of Procedure (Executive Calendar)

The Senate considered a routine order of procedure setting the schedule for presidential nominations on the Executive Calendar. Senator Cassidy asked unanimous consent to shorten the remaining debate time on the Flowers nomination and hold a confirmation vote at 11:30 a.m. the next day, and also to establish filing and voting times for cloture motions on other nominations during Monday’s session. No substantive policy debate occurred; the exchange consisted of this scheduling request.Written by AI from the debate. Updated .
