Sunshine Protection Act of 2025

“I want to remind everyone I thought of this idea first 13 years ago. My bill was popular. I am one of the most important people on this issue. I didn't pass my bill. I blame the other party for not passing it then. Now the other party agrees with my idea. That's good. It took too long, but now I hope we all support this bill together. Daylight saving time is better. People go shopping after work so businesses want more daylight. Beaches like more daylight. Farmers don't need the government to tell them what time to wake up. Changing the clock is bad for public health. Kids need sunlight to play outside. Schools should figure out what is best for kids. We should all agree to support making daylight saving time permanent. That will be good for everyone.”
