The available record for Langworthy is a single statement—a floor tribute to a deceased town supervisor in his district—which is too little to establish reliable patterns. It shows only that he marks local lives and community figures on the House floor, in this case praising the late Marilla town supervisor’s farming background, civic service, and role in a local America 250 celebration. No policy positions, party-line behavior, or debating style can be fairly read from this material alone.Written by AI from their statements. Updated .

Honoring Earl "Skip" Gingerich, Jr.

“I am honoring Earl "Skip" Gingerich, Jr., the town supervisor of Marilla who recently died. He was a farmer and a dedicated leader who worked hard to serve his community.”
Official Congressional Record

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the life and the service of Marilla town supervisor Earl ``Skip’’ Gingerich, Jr. Skip was a farmer, a patriot, and a man who deeply loved his community. His untimely passing is a profound loss for the people of Marilla. As a lifelong resident, Skip understood what made Marilla special, and he understood that preserving its traditions and rural way of life required work and dedication. I had the honor of joining him at Marilla’s America 250 celebration, where he inaugurated a liberty bell as a reminder that freedom is never free. He tended to the town with the same care that he devoted to his third-generation family farm. He was a proud advocate for agriculture and a true steward of the land. Whether at the barn or the town hall, Skip embodied integrity, hard work, faith, and service. My prayers are with his family, his friends, and the entire Marilla community at this difficult time. May God bless Skip Gingerich, and may he rest in peace.
