“I want to cheer for Slovakia's Constitution Day. I like that it places limits on government. Slovakia was ruled by Communists. Now they have a constitution. They are American allies and we trade with them. Some Americans have Slovak ancestors. That's good.”

“I want to celebrate Patrick Morrissey. He was a very good wrestler. In 2019 he got Parkinson's disease. That is very sad. But Patrick did not give up. He rowed a boat from California to Hawaii. That is very far. The trip was hard. The waves and wind were strong. Patrick's disease made it hard every day. But he did not quit. He reached Hawaii in 41 days. Patrick was the first person with Parkinson's to row that far. He raised a lot of money for Parkinson's research. I think Patrick is very brave. His story inspires many people. I am proud to represent Patrick and his family in Congress.”
“I want to celebrate Dennis Webb retiring. He was a reporter. He wrote about the environment and natural resources for many years. Many people in my district read his writing. Dennis helped people understand public lands issues. He wrote about water rights and wildfires. People in Denver and Washington DC liked his writing. Good journalism helps people understand things. It doesn't tell people what to think. Dennis did good journalism. I wish Dennis a good retirement. I thank him for his work.”
“I am here to celebrate a power company in my district. It is called Grand Valley Power. They have been giving people electricity for 90 years. It started when some farmers didn't have power. They worked together to make their own power company. Now the company is big. It gives power to many people in my district. The company is not for profit. It is owned by the members. I am happy they are in my district.”
“I want to talk about a restaurant in my district. It is called C & J Cafe. The Agredano family owns it. They are good people. They work hard and help their community. Their restaurant is a nice place where people can eat and be together. They have big cinnamon rolls. The Agredanos kept serving people even during COVID. The people in my district like them. I'm happy to represent these people.”
“I'm proud of our Colorado Army National Guard aviators who saved a hiker's life. They flew their helicopter at the limits of its capabilities and reached where no one else could. Our National Guard helps not just in combat but also here at home when no one else can answer the call. Colorado is safer because of their service.”
