Cloture Motion (Executive Session)

The Senate held a vote on a cloture motion during an executive session, which is a procedural vote on whether to end debate and move to a final vote on a nomination or measure. Senator Barrasso announced that several Republican senators were absent and noted how one of them, Senator Tillis of North Carolina, would have voted if present. Little other substantive discussion was recorded for this vote.Written by AI from the debate. Updated .
