Jamie Raskin Democrat
“I want the House to pass this bill. It fixes cross-references and small errors in federal laws to make the lawbooks clearer.”
“Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, these are all similar recodification and editorial reclassification bills, but this one is a sparkling diamond in the rough, which is why I introduced it. It updates cross-references and corrects related technical errors throughout the entire code to accommodate previous reclassification efforts. It just makes the lawbooks a lot clearer and life a little bit better for everybody. Mr. Speaker, I urge everyone to support it, and I reserve the balance of my time.”
