“I want to know when our committee will hold a hearing or a briefing about this war. We need to hold a public hearing to discuss whether we should be at war with Iran.”
“Mr. Speaker, I would again respond to the chairman by asking: When will we have a single classified briefing, a single hearing in the House Committee on Foreign Affairs on this war? Is the chairman prepared to say that we will have that hearing on this war? Why are we so afraid of having a public hearing on the issue of whether or not we should be at war in Iran? Where is the chairman’s commitment to the American people?”
