“Iran has been attacking us for years, injuring and killing Americans. To end this war, we have to stop the people who are attacking us.”
“Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, both of my colleagues said forever war. I stood here and read for about 15 minutes about the attacks that Iran has been leveling against us just for the last couple of years: 350 attacks, 30 months, 200 wounded, four killed. That is the forever war. It has been going on for 47 years, but that is just the last 30 months of the forever war Iran has been waging against us. To end a war that is waged against us every single day, you have to end the people that are waging that war. That is what is taking place. Mr. Speaker, I reserve the balance of my time.”
