“I want to congratulate Casia Steinhaus, a college student from North Dakota. She won a major national scholarship for her work in science.”
“Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize an outstanding young North Dakotan, Casia Steinhaus. Casia recently earned the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship, one of the Nation’s highest honors for undergraduate students pursuing careers in science, math, or engineering. This highly competitive scholarship recognizes exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and promise in scientific research. It is a testament to Casia’s academic excellence and hard work at the University of North Dakota. Her accomplishment reflects not only her own dedication but also the bright future of North Dakota’s next generation of innovators, researchers, and problem-solvers. I have no doubt this is only the beginning for Casia, and I wish her continued success as she pursues her studies and serves our country through her talents.”
