“I want to congratulate the Long Island Association on its 100th anniversary. I am thanking its leaders and members for working to improve our community.”
“Mr. Speaker, as my colleagues and I have described during this Special Order, Long Island’s success has never happened by accident. Rather, it has always been driven by gritty, proud, hardworking people willing to invest in their communities and build a stronger future. For the last 100 years, the Long Island Association has helped lead that effort, and I have no doubt it will continue to do so for generations to come. I once again congratulate the Long Island Association on its centennial anniversary, thank its leadership and members for their enduring service to our region and wish them continued success ahead. Mr. Speaker, I yield to the gentleman from Indiana (Mr. Messmer).”
